The canoe trips with Adventure Norway start at the Rafting Center in Hesså, Lindesnes, it continue 6 km downstream on the Mandal River. You paddle through scenic surroundings where the silence is truly magical.

If you’re lucky, you may spot beavers and other wildlife along the river.

The Mandal River is also one of Norway’s best salmon rivers.

This section of the river has a gentle current with continuous movement in the water, but no waves.

It is therefore safe and comfortable for everyone, even for those with no prior paddling experience.
Our canoes have three seats and are suitable for two adults and one child.

The river stretch is approximately 6 km and ends at Manflå lake.

Bring your swimwear – there are opportunities for swimming, and it’s also ideal to bring a picnic..

Canoe, paddle, life jacket, map and a dry bag for things that can not withstand water.

Logistics

For smaller groups, participants are required to arrive by car. We first drive together to the end point, leave your car there, and then transport you back to the starting point. From there, you paddle down the river to the end point where your car is waiting. For larger groups or overnight guests, we can arrange pickup from the end point at an agreed time.
