We’ll pick you up at the docks and take a scenic 55-minute drive to Adventure Norway, passing lakes, rivers, and beautiful landscape along the way – a perfect start to your adventure!

When we arrive, you’ll be greeted with refreshments and information about the rafting. From the initial briefing to returning to the center, the experience lasts about 3 hours.

​

We provide wetsuits, shoes and safety equipment such as buoyancy vests and helmets. All you need to bring is swimwear and a towel. Warm clothes for after the rafting, depending on the weather.

 

Once you have changed into a wetsuit, we drive to the starting point for the rafting. Here we go through the safety routines for the trip on the river. We raft a 6 km section of the river which is grade 2/3 with sections completely in the wild, away from habitation, before we arrive at Adventure Norway's base on Hesså. This river is perfect for beginners. We combine exciting rapids with play, teamwork and lots of laughter. Suitable for children from 6 years old.

After an exciting time on the river, we’ll enjoy a tasty lunch in the stunning surroundings. If there’s some time left, you can take a walk, try bow and arrow, or simply enjoy the tranquility.

After a day of adventure, we drive you safely back to the Cruise ship.​

Typical Schedule:

• 09:00 – Pick up at the dock

• 10:00 – Arrival, refreshments, and briefing

• 10:30–13:00 – Rafting

• 13:30 – Lunch

• 14:00 – Departure back to the dock (back around 15:00)
